The Benefits of Reading Books for Daily Life
Reading books is a great exercise for brain and mind. There are some benefits that given to us if we read books:
- Add insight and knowledge. The more we read books, the more knowledge we get;
- Improve the vocabulary. By reading books, we can find new word/sentence that we never knew;
- Improve concentration. I can say thet we need to focus when we read book, so we can absorb the knowledge in the book. We should have reading habit since we child. So we don’t get bored easily;
- Improve memory. By reading, we are improving our knowledge. We retain the knowledge from the book that we have been read and we can recall it;
- Improve writing skills. Honestly just by reading book won’t make our writing skill suddenly good. But by reading we learnt unconsciously about how to create good and interesting writing;
- Improve intelligence. It almost same with the number 1, but in this case is talk about intelligence. With reading, we can improve our communication, logical, also boosed people’s emotional intelligence.
